The importance of implementing Maintenance Plans for concrete and steel structures is related to the possibility of planning preventive actions, instead of corrective and emergency actions, using methodologies developed for this purpose.
The plans are based on “Priority Matrices” developed from a database containing the registration of the structures, tests carried out, structural diagnosis, studies of prediction of service life, in addition to operational criteria related to the use of the structures.
The introduction of a maintenance plan, in addition to ensuring the integrity of the structures, can result in savings in maintenance and operation activities, and significant reductions in insurance costs and/or asset valuation.
The experience acquired by Recuperação Engenharia over several industrial and infrastructure projects allowed the development of computerized maintenance management systems with use of exclusive software, which can be customized according to the needs and requirements of each client.
