The 3D Laser Scanner is an optical precision instrument capable of obtaining measurements from multiple points every second, referencing them through XYZ coordinates and in parallel high resolution images are obtained. Its range can reach 350 meters and the amount of points raised can reach close to 1 million points per second. The result is a cloud of high density points that can exceed 100 million points.
