Client: State Government of Santa Catarina (DEINFRA) – Florianópolis/SC

Activities: Rehabilitation projects of the Florianopolis City continent-island connecting bridges.

Year: 2013 – 2014

Description: The road connection between the continent and the Island of Florianópolis is made by the Colombo Salles bridge, opened in 1975 with 1226 meters of extension, and Pedro Ivo Campos bridge, opened in 1991 with 1251 meters of extension, being fundamental not only for the capital, but to the metropolitan region, since they also address water mains, pipes with electrical cables, gas and optical fibers. Due to the advanced stage of deterioration of concrete and steel structures, Recuperação Engenharia was contracted to prepare the rehabilitation projects for the two bridges, using detailed inspections of the structures, including underwater inspections, as well as field and laboratory tests.

Client: Belo Horizonte City Hall (SUDECAP) – Belo Horizonte/MG

Activities: Inspection and rehabilitation projects for rainwater galleries in the city of Belo Horizonte.

Year: 1999 – 2016

Description: The city of Belo Horizonte implemented a Master Plan for Urban Drainage in 2001 with the objective of creating a planning instrument for the city’s rain drainage system. Recuperação Engenharia was contracted to inspect 74 rainwater galleries in the Arrudas River Basin and 52 galleries in the Onça River Basin, totaling approximately 120 km of closed galleries. The work was done by specialized technicians and engineers, having all the necessary safety apparatus. Geometrical surveys of the existing systems, registrations of the pathological manifestations verified inside the structures and structural diagnoses of the galleries were made. As a result of the work, a maintenance plan for the galleries was drawn up, consisting of works to rehabilitate the structures and systematic routine inspections.
