Client: Estádio Mineirão – Minas Gerais State Government – DEOP (Department of Public Works)

Activities: Rehabilitation and Waterproofing Project and supervision of the execution works.

Year: 2012-2014

Description: Detailed inspection, survey of pathological manifestations, field and laboratory tests, rehabilitation and waterproofing projects of the concrete structures of the Governor Magalhães Pinto Stadium aiming at its rehabilitation for the 2014 Football World Cup. Together with the Mineirinho Sports Gymnasium, more than 200,000 sqm of structure were inspected. Recuperação Engenharia also acted in the supervision and technical monitoring of the execution works.

Client: Public Services Concessionaire (Porto Maravilha) – Rio de Janeiro/RJ.

Activity: Inspection for consultancy regarding the durability of viaducts and bridges structures and supervision of execution works.

Year: 2013-2016

Description: The port area of Rio de Janeiro has undergone a major transformation for the 2016 Olympic Games – Maravilha Port Project. Among the various actions to revitalize the site was the rehabilitation of old viaducts and bridges that required a maintenance plan to preserve the integrity of the structures. In this regard, a methodology based on a vulnerability matrix was developed, based on the intensity and severity of existing pathological manifestations, generating a scale of priorities for repair interventions. For the implementation of the Maintenance Plan, detailed inspections and structural rehabilitation projects were carried out, in addition to supervision and technical monitoring of the execution works.
