Client: Highways Concessionaire (3rd Bridge of Vitória) – Vitória/ES.

Activities: Implementation of a maintenance plan for concrete and steel structures.

Year: 1999 – 2017

Description: The 3rd Bridge of Vitória, with 3,339 meters of extension, is one of the largest and most important road bridges in Brazil, built with more than 94,000 m³ of concrete. It was opened in 1989 and since 1998 is managed by a concessionaire company, which hired Recuperação Engenharia to develop and implement a maintenance plan based on the service life prediction of its concrete and steel structures. The work consists of conducting inspections and laboratory field tests in a continuous and systematic way, using, among other techniques, drones, underwater inspections, rappeling inspections, tests on prestressed cables, etc. The results are launched in a service life forecasting program that traces the aging curves of the concrete, enabling the planning of corrective and preventive maintenance interventions.

Client: Highways Concessionaire (BR 393) – Rio de Janeiro.

Activities: Highways Monitoring.

Year: 2016 – 2018

Description: BR 393 – RJ, which connects the cities of Além Paraíba to Volta Redonda, with a length of 190 km, is under a public concession regime, and the concessionaire company hired Recuperação Engenharia to monitor the highway covering inspections of bridges and viaducts, drainage systems, horizontal and vertical signaling, containments and embankments, right-of-ways, operational buildings and electrical systems, in compliance with the PER (Highway Exploration Program) of ANTT (National Agency of Terrestrial Transport).
