Description:<\/strong> The concrete structures of the Lima and Callao Electric Mass Transport System were paralyzed for more than 20 years. In order to restart construction, it was necessary to carry out a thorough assessment of the degradation level of the structures, consisting of detailed inspection, field and laboratory tests, including ultrasonography, chloride content measurements, compressive strength tests and corrosion measurement in prestressed cables. Description:<\/strong> For the construction of one of the largest port infrastructure in Latin America, with the capacity to move 100 million tons of iron ore per year, it was necessary to build a 1620 meter access bridge into the sea and two berthing fronts to receive up to 50 vessels per month. Recupera\u00e7\u00e3o Engenharia participated in this mega project, which used more than 160,000 m\u00b3 of concrete, as a Quality Consultancy and Technical Construction Monitoring company.
